Vaccine Confidence
in Canada

In partnership with Science for Everyone | Funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada

This project developed a multilingual, trauma-informed COVID-19 vaccine information portal to promote vaccine confidence and support informed decision-making for communities across the Greater Toronto Area. This project is archived, and resources are no longer being updated.

Description

The #IGOTVACCINATED Campaign was a 12-week, community-driven initiative designed to build COVID-19 vaccine confidence and support continued public health measures across Canada. Funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada through the Vaccine Community Innovation Challenge, the campaign centred on underserved communities in the Greater Toronto Area and addressed real barriers to vaccination through culturally safe, accessible health education.

Through surveys, social media, expert-led workshops, and a digital resource portal shaped by community input, missINFORMED worked to counter vaccine misinformation and spark an information ripple effect. Selected among only 20 organizations nationwide, the campaign highlighted the power of trusted, community-led approaches to protecting and promoting public health.
